(male announcer): this is the bay area news station, kron 4 news starts now. >> pam: now at five. >> pam: an attempted kidnapping caught on surveillance camera. a man grabs a woman -- right outside the open doors of a city bus. it happened in milpitas tuesday. and police are searching for the pair. kron 4's rob fladeboe is live tonight at the scene of this brazen assault. rob? >> reporter:number 217 pulled up at a stop here on east calaveras boulevard and >> reporter:opened it's doors. police sergeant raj maharaj says the surveillance video, captured by a camera on the bus, jibes with the story told by the bus driver, who called 911. >> reporter:

the video shows a violent struggle. the man can be heard referencing a bag at first held by the woman, who in turn is shouting for the driver to call police, who are treating this as a possible kidnapping. what else could >> reporter:whatever it was occurred right across the street from milpitas city hall, un-nerving some transit riders like erick osorio. police went door to door in the neighborhood looking for happened after they moved out of range of that surveillance camera. >> reporter:relief tonight.from a family distraught after their 13- year old girl went missing over the weekend. polcie say ana elizarraras was found safe in san jose this morning. a family member apparently located the girl in the south bay around 11-am. police say ana appears to have willingly left her home sunday morning, but did not contact family or friends after leaving home. >> reporter:before today.the 13-year old was last seen in a car with three guys in pleasanton, where the family lives. >> reporter:happening now. bart trying to get to the bottom of a major malfunction that injured a number of bart riders. smokey brakes disabled a train in the tunnel between the rockridge and orinda stations this morning. once the fumes hit the passengers -- it made for a dangerous situation. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc-7 news. it shows first responders on the scene,

>> reporter:it turned out to be a false alarmat least in terms of needing to battle any kind of blaze >>there was no active fire there was no smoke according to bart it was brake dust causing difficulty breathing on the train >> reporter:firefighters then went from fire attack mode to triaging patients once the affected train was able to limp to the platform at the rockridge bart stop.and put nearby emergency rooms on alert. >>we had what we considered to be a mass casualty situation >> reporter:first responders attended to 11 passengers totaltwo needing immediate medical attention. >>one person with a history of ashma was complaining they were having difficulty breathing and the other person who we ahd to get off the train was in a semi conscious state >> reporter:seven with minor injuries were loaded into ambulances and sent to area hospitals. two others

>> pam: the fast and the furious star was a passenger in the red porsche carerra gt involved in the accident. meantime -- a new video is shedding new light on the death of actor paul walker. casey wian reports. >> reporter:chilling new video showing the crash that killed actor paul walker and his friend, roger rodas. >> reporter:at the moment of impact -- you can see a light pole and tree fall. smoke is faintly visible at first -- then begins to billow heavily. but it took 60 seconds between the time of the crash and the first signs of smoke -- when the porsche burst into flames. ♪ "we've heard of heroic efforts to try to pull the men out but it was too late. it's the lonely 60 seconds of no smoke, no fire in the porsche carrera gt when those men were inside that vehicle obviously unable to get out." >> reporter:the autopsy results on the remains of the victims are complete but not being released because of a "security hold."
